What is Safe Mode?
Safe mode is a way to start your computer with only the most essential programs. Normally, your computer loads many drivers when it starts. These drivers help the operating system (OS) communicate with other devices. In safe mode, only basic drivers are loaded, such as the keyboard, mouse, and display.
Why Use Safe Mode?
If your computer won't start or keeps crashing, safe mode can help. This could happen due to a virus, malware, or corrupt files. Safe mode allows your OS to run in a simple state, making it easier to find and fix problems.
While in safe mode, your screen resolution may look different, and some apps may not work. Your computer might also be slower. This happens because certain drivers are not running.
